The basics
What is StayDeck?
A layer around your short-term rental bookings. It gives guests, cleaning crews and owners one link each, and gives the manager one screen for the day.
Do I need a PMS?
No. StayDeck only needs the calendar link of each listing, so it works whether you run a PMS or manage directly on Airbnb and Booking.com. If you have a PMS it stays as it is: StayDeck is not a PMS or a channel manager, and nothing has to be migrated.
Is it a dynamic pricing tool?
No. StayDeck does not set or change your nightly rates.
Setup and data
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. You paste the calendar link (iCal) of each listing, and the dates keep themselves up to date.
Which booking platforms does it work with?
Any platform that gives you a calendar link for a listing. That includes Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and most PMSs.
Where do the numbers on owner statements come from?
From the payout report you download from Airbnb or Booking.com and upload once a month, plus the expense lines you add.
Do you need access to my platform accounts?
No. StayDeck reads the calendar links you paste and the files you upload. It never logs into your accounts.
Guests, crew and owners
Do guests, cleaners or owners install anything?
No. Each link opens as a web page in the phone browser. There is no app to download and no account to create.
Can an owner see other owners' properties?
No. A link only shows the properties that belong to that owner.
Can I use it with an outside cleaning company?
Yes. A job can be assigned to a person or to a team, and each of them only sees their own list.
Pricing
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on how many units you manage, and every plan includes every module. Request pricing and we will send you a quote.
How are paid guest extras priced?
As a share of what you sell, not a fixed fee. If guests buy nothing, extras cost you nothing.
